Gender Recognition Register
Note: The draft Gender Recognition Bill (GerBil) proposed establishing a “Transsexual Persons Register” as a device within the birth registration system to allow us to be issued with completely new birth certificates. When the bill was actually tabled in Parliament, the name of the register was changed to the “Gender Recognition Register”.
